Refining, Submitting, and Presenting Grants

This unit guides learners through finalizing competitive grant proposals, responsibly integrating AI, and preparing persuasive presentations and follow-up strategies. Students will practice submission readiness, evidence-based storytelling, nonprofit funding pathways (including SBIR awareness), and maintain human-centered collaboration while avoiding overdependence on AI.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze reviewer-focused proposal narratives and revise application sections to create a coherent, human-centered journey for reviewers
• Apply AI tools and proofreading strategies to generate, edit, and align proposal content with funder requirements while documenting responsible AI use
• Demonstrate effective submission and post-submission processes, including application checklists, SBIR basics, and outreach plans for nonprofit funding
• Evaluate and deliver persuasive oral and visual presentations that clearly communicate program impact, evidence of outcomes, and partnership roles while maintaining human authenticity
