This unit introduces how digital and AI capabilities create competitive advantage and how to align talent, processes, and technology to capture that value. Learners will examine domain-based approaches, emerging technologies, agile team practices, and talent strategies to prepare for practical architecture and implementation work in subsequent units.

• Apply a domain-based approach to map a business domain and propose a decoupled technical architecture that aligns business priorities with technology components
• Evaluate organizational and talent needs by creating an employee value proposition and a talent-team blueprint that identifies in-house roles and development priorities
• Demonstrate agile organizational building blocks and ceremonies by designing a team operating model that includes career paths, professional development, and three priority ceremonies to drive performance
