Scaling Scrum and Organizational Agility

This capstone unit extends foundational Scrum skills to the enterprise level, focusing on scaling frameworks (Scrum@Scale, Nexus, SAFe), DevOps integration, sales alignment, and metrics that drive business outcomes. Learners will synthesize approaches for improved predictability, innovation, team structures, leadership support, and next-step professional development.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze organizational needs and constraints to recommend an appropriate scaling approach (Scrum@Scale, Nexus, or SAFe) based on team size, product complexity, and business goals
• Apply DevOps practices, continuous testing, and optimized team structures to design a delivery strategy that improves feedback loops and predictability
• Demonstrate alignment of product roadmaps with sales strategies and profit-and-loss considerations by producing a roadmap-to-value and a metrics dashboard tied to business outcomes
• Evaluate culture, leadership support, and learning pathways to propose interventions (training, certifications, expert engagement) that increase innovation, morale, and sustained agility
