Sustaining and Closing Learning Experiences

This capstone unit focuses on advanced facilitation, sustaining a learning culture, and effectively closing and evaluating training events using live, blended, and social media approaches. Learners build partnership strategies with SMEs, manage transitions and logistics, and collect evidence of learning to inform continuous improvement.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze common delivery challenges and apply prevention and conflict-resolution strategies to resolve or mitigate at least three simulated training scenarios
• Design and facilitate live and blended learning activities (including social and video components, peer coaching circles, and volunteer tasks) that demonstrate smooth transitions and a purposeful closure for a defined audience
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop partnership agreements and select or adapt off-the-shelf materials, producing an annotated resource package and a plan to sustain the learning culture
• Evaluate learner performance and training effectiveness using feedback incentives, homework review, artifact evidence (e.g., pictures, annotations, video posts), and produce a data-informed improvement plan
