Prompting, Ethics, and AI Workflows

This unit builds on introductory concepts to focus on practical prompt design, ethical use, and integration of AI across media and workflows. Students will explore bias, limitations, privacy, conversational agents, multimodal generation (text, audio, video), and strategies to troubleshoot, personalize, and streamline real-world tasks with AI.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze sources of bias, fairness issues, and ethical implications in AI outputs and formulate mitigation strategies that include transparency and accountability measures
• Apply advanced prompting techniques to produce and refine multimodal content (text, audio, video, brand assets) and construct basic conversational AI flows for routine and personalized interactions
• Demonstrate procedures for safeguarding data privacy, diagnosing failures when AI behaves unexpectedly, and integrating AI tools into existing workflows to improve efficiency
• Evaluate research tools, predictive-analysis insights, and human-technology interaction principles to optimize customer journeys, conversion-focused content, and identify transferable, AI-resilient roles
