This unit guides learners through the Copilot Studio interface, ethical and societal considerations of AI, and practical prompt engineering to create reusable enterprise assets. Students will design, build, and evaluate a first working Copilot and reflect on future trends to prepare for advanced integration and deployment topics in the final unit.
Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate proficiency navigating Copilot Studio by completing setup tasks, configuring a workspace, and explaining three key UI components and their functions
- Analyze ethical, legal, and societal implications of AI by identifying at least three potential risks and documenting mitigation strategies aligned with organizational policy
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to create and organize an enterprise prompt library of at least five reusable, versioned prompts and validate their performance with test cases
- Build and deploy a functioning Copilot that performs a defined workplace task, measure its basic performance against acceptance criteria, and recommend two improvements for future iterations
