Design, Collaboration, and AI Integration

This unit advances students’ ability to refine and finalize PowerPoint presentations by applying design principles, working collaboratively, and responsibly integrating AI-generated content. Students will learn to polish visuals and charts, manage media and file performance, and follow copyright and style standards in preparation for presentation and publication.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze slide layouts, color schemes, templates, and wording to apply consistent design principles and auto-layouts that improve readability and brand cohesion
• Apply AI-assisted content creation techniques and structured prompting to generate slide content with Copilot, then refine and verify outputs for accuracy, relevance, and copyright compliance
• Demonstrate collaborative workflows by co-authoring in real time, using comments and versioning tools, recording slide shows, and organizing/pinning presentations for efficient access
• Evaluate and optimize multimedia, SmartArt, tables, charts, and images—adjusting styles, compression, and visual properties while minimizing distracting animations—to enhance clarity, accessibility, and file performance
