Azure AI Agents and Applications

This unit synthesizes Azure AI fundamentals into practical knowledge of AI agents, Microsoft Copilot, and platform services (Azure OpenAI, computer vision, NLP, and ML). Students learn to design enterprise agent capabilities, apply Responsible AI principles, and evaluate cross-industry AI use cases while preparing for the Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals certification.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze the architecture and core components of AI agents, including Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI Agents, by mapping component roles, data flows, and interaction patterns
• Apply Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI Service, computer vision, NLP, and ML tools) to design solution plans for real-world workloads, specifying service choices, data inputs, and expected outputs
• Demonstrate how to plan enterprise AI agent capabilities and integrations by specifying security, privacy, governance, and Responsible AI controls for a given scenario
• Evaluate cross-industry AI use cases (healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, education, customer service) and produce exam-style responses that justify solution approaches and limitations
