Agent Optimization, Integration, and Deployment

This capstone unit guides students through advanced configuration, testing, optimization, and deployment of Microsoft Copilot Studio agents. Students will learn to integrate Azure AI Search, convert and create agent flows from Power Automate, and apply analytics-driven improvements for cost and user experience prior to publishing and monitoring live agents.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze agent analytics, logs, and monitoring data to identify performance bottlenecks, user-experience issues, and cost drivers
• Apply optimization strategies to reduce operational costs and enhance user-focused agent performance by refining agent instructions, actions (e.g., Create Lead), and resource use
• Demonstrate configuration and testing of Azure AI Search integration within agents and validate search-enabled flows for relevance and accuracy
• Evaluate, convert, and create agent flows from existing Power Automate flows, then publish and monitor agents while verifying prerequisites and test results to ensure readiness
