This unit guides students through the final phases of the design process: revision, finalization, and repeatable production workflows, while emphasizing accessibility, legal/usage concerns, and cost-effective execution. Students will also prepare and maintain a professional portfolio that documents process, showcases adaptive/AI-integrated work, and responds to external review.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze external and peer feedback and implement at least two iterative revisions (Phases 6–8) to produce finalized deliverables that meet client specifications and production constraints
• Apply colorblind-friendly strategies, typography conventions (font size, leading), and typographic best practices to revise three different layouts for improved legibility and accessibility
• Demonstrate proper asset management by documenting usage rights and licenses for AI-generated and third-party assets and preparing production-ready files with identified cost-reduction strategies for two projects
• Evaluate and update a professional portfolio by including process sketches, keyword-optimized project entries, examples of dynamic/adaptive design and optimized advertising, present it to an external reviewer, and incorporate actionable feedback
