This unit develops students’ technical and creative postproduction skills—covering soundtrack anatomy, editing theory, transitions, color correction/grading, deliverables, and distribution strategies—while grounding those practices in historical and business contexts (analog to digital, streaming, owned/earned/paid content). It builds on foundational production skills from Unit 1 and prepares students to plan and execute a coordinated production/post pipeline, casting and crew roles, and a release plan in Units 3–4.
