Deploying and Managing Copilot Agents

This unit covers publishing, testing, and lifecycle management of Copilot agents with emphasis on M365 and Teams channels, the spectrum of agent types, and building declarative agents using Copilot Studio Agent Builder. Students will learn to deploy and test agents, update declarative agents, and apply ALM practices using Power Platform environments and solutions to prepare agents for real-world use and future development.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze the spectrum of Copilot agents and justify when to use M365 Copilot, declarative agents, or other agent types based on scenario requirements
• Apply Copilot Studio Agent Builder features to create, publish, and test a declarative M365 Copilot agent across Teams and Microsoft 365 channels
• Demonstrate publishing workflows by configuring channels, deploying agents to Microsoft Teams and M365, and performing test drives to validate functionality
• Evaluate ALM strategies, Power Platform environments, and Solutions to plan updates, manage limitations, and maintain Copilot agents throughout their lifecycle
