Enabling Agile Delivery and Change

This unit focuses on practical practices and governance needed to enable agile teams to deliver valuable, releasable outcomes while managing cost, risk, communication, procurement, and multi-team coordination. Students will examine and apply frameworks (LeSS, SAFe, Scrum@Scale), tools, and change management strategies to create and sustain an environment that supports agility across programs and stakeholders.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze differences between Agile and traditional approaches to cost, communication, and risk management and propose mitigation strategies for a provided project scenario
• Apply Agile budgeting and procurement techniques to develop a project budget and procurement plan that supports iterative delivery, reduced risk, and stakeholder value
• Demonstrate multi-team coordination and planning using LeSS, SAFe, or Scrum@Scale practices—including joint program planning and information radiators—to align roles and deliverables across teams
• Evaluate change management approaches (including Platinum Principles and Platinum Edge’s Change Roadmap) and design a stakeholder engagement and adoption plan to support sustained organizational agility
