Finalizing and Presenting PowerPoint

This capstone unit focuses on refining, protecting, and delivering polished PowerPoint presentations. Students will integrate advanced visuals, employ AI-assisted content, manage files and recovery procedures, troubleshoot common issues, and practice effective presentation delivery.

Learning Objectives

• Apply PowerPoint interface and file-management procedures to add, move, and organize slides and sections, and to save, back up, close, and recover presentations according to workplace conventions
• Demonstrate creation and formatting of advanced visual elements—including 3D models, map, treemap and sunburst charts, embellished charts, and images—while applying design principles to keep slides simple and engaging
• Analyze common editing and formatting problems (such as line ending issues, excessive bullet levels, and compatibility errors) and apply troubleshooting techniques including Ctrl+Z, file restoration, and use of help resources
• Evaluate and implement effective AI prompting etiquette for Copilot-generated visuals and demonstrate presentation delivery using Presenter View, navigation controls, and appropriate display modes
