This unit introduces students to identifying and evaluating entrepreneurial opportunities and cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset. Students practice rapid ideation, opportunity screening, early value‑proposition development, and short‑term planning to prepare for deeper business planning and financial analysis in subsequent units.

- Analyze personal, market, and contextual signals to identify at least three viable entrepreneurial opportunities within a chosen sector
- Apply time-management and prioritization techniques to create a one-week action plan that advances one selected opportunity
- Demonstrate generation and screening of business ideas by producing and defending a concise value proposition and target-customer statement
- Evaluate the initial feasibility of a selected opportunity using basic criteria (market need, uniqueness, available resources) and justify its selection for further development
