Future-Ready Ethical Leadership

This unit develops learners’ ability to lead and make ethical, human-centered decisions in technology-rich, scaled workplaces. Students explore systems thinking, insights and foresight tools, AI transparency and explainability, and the trade-offs of scaling to prepare organizations for near- and long-term challenges.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze complex organizational scenarios to identify technical, ethical, societal, and decision debts and their impacts on scaling and long-term viability
• Apply insights, foresight, and context-mapping tools (including the Insights Inventory) to create actionable, purpose-driven strategies for near-future workplace design
• Demonstrate participative and purpose-driven leadership practices that promote human-aligned decision making, transparency, and explainability in AI and data systems
• Evaluate trade-offs between present needs and long-term goals (e.g., short‑termism vs. longtermism) to recommend responsible scaling and innovation approaches
