This capstone unit synthesizes regional case studies and strategic challenges facing smart cities, including security and privacy, workforce diversity, mobility, healthcare delivery, and logistics. Students evaluate risks of short-term thinking and narrow knowledge sharing and develop resilient, inclusive implementation strategies that build on prior technical foundations.
