Students examine healthcare applications, brand strategies, payment/finance considerations, hardware testing, accessibility, and workforce development while anticipating future trends.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze multiple real-world metaverse use cases (including healthcare, retail, and education) to identify benefits, risks, accessibility needs, and regulatory or ethical considerations
• Evaluate major metaverse platforms and environments (e.g., Epic, Roblox, Somnium Space, Bloktopia, Shopify integrations) and recommend a platform strategy based on target audience, technical constraints, and monetization goals
• Apply business, marketing, and payment-processing principles to create a concise go-to-market plan that incorporates influencer strategies, brand-awareness tactics, revenue streams, and security/compliance requirements
