Students create and communicate a personal ‘My Story’ that frames their entrepreneurial goals and professional identity. They also analyze the scope and structure of the course/book to align learning activities and expectations with their pathway goals and upcoming units.
Learning Objectives
- Analyze personal strengths, experiences, and career interests to compose a clear, 1–2 page ‘My Story’ narrative that communicates entrepreneurial intent and professional identity
- Apply professional storytelling and communication techniques to prepare and deliver a concise oral and written version of the ‘My Story’ for peer and instructor feedback
- Demonstrate understanding of the course/book scope by creating a mapped organizer that links key concepts, timelines, and assessments to personal learning goals
- Evaluate alignment between the ‘My Story’, pathway standards, and upcoming unit expectations to develop at least three actionable learning goals for the remainder of the course
