Productivity, Collaboration, and Data Insights

This unit develops students’ ability to use Microsoft 365 tools to manage documents, communicate, automate tasks, and convert data into actionable insights. Students will practice collaboration and search features, build simple apps, create presentations and Power BI reports, and evaluate personal productivity and wellbeing tools to support workplace effectiveness.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze sample data sets and create clear visual narratives using Power BI and presentation techniques to support workplace decisions
• Apply Microsoft 365 collaboration and document-management features (OneDrive, SharePoint document libraries, Delve, Search, Outlook, Stream, and Kaizala) to organize, locate, share, and secure files and communications
• Demonstrate creation, configuration, and launching of a basic Power App to automate a routine office task and integrate it with SharePoint or Teams
• Evaluate personal and team productivity and wellbeing using MyAnalytics and available calming/wellness features, and recommend post-activity actions and sustainable practices (e.g., zero-carbon commute) to improve outcomes
