This unit examines recent technology waves—web/search, social media, cloud, and robotics—and their implications for privacy, sustainability, and human-centered design. Learners synthesize ethical frameworks and professional practices to design responsible, data-driven solutions and to lead cultural change in digital organizations, building on prior technical foundations and preparing for advanced application.

• Analyze how web/search, social media, cloud, and robotics technologies alter data access, privacy, and social dynamics using real-world case studies
• Evaluate ethical, legal, and societal implications of deploying algorithms, AI, and robotics and justify mitigation strategies for bias, autonomy, and human rights
